Catching Up!

Well, I haven't posted in a while, but I have a VERY good excuse! Before I share that embarrassing story, can I just ask-does anyone else out there feel like they have entirely too many user names and passwords??? Remember the days when you might have only had one, and you could actually remember it...or you used the same one for everything?

Well, somehow, I couldn't access my blog...kept getting an error message telling me that my username and/or password were incorrect! Whaaat??? I checked the notebook I have to keep all that info in nowadays, and after much hair-pulling and frustration, (and a couple of weeks of procrastinating) figured out that ONE little letter can create a BIG problem! Anyway...problem solved! I'm back and I have lots to share!

A couple of weeks ago I got the opportunity to rent a vendor space in a very popular, local antique mall. Well, I jumped on that pretty quickly, and have been working like crazy to finish enough pieces for my new space.

Thought I'd share a few before and after pics of some of the pieces that I've finished so far. I love the details on this little table to the left. It was so much fun to watch this one evolve.

This big brute was a piece I picked up last summer and boy, is it solid! I decided to use a french graphic on it, and I loved the way it turned out. In fact, I really had a tough time letting it go!

Remember this lovely treasure? Richard found her hiding in the corner
at an estate sale a few weeks ago. I couldn't wait to transform her!
So...tada! Here she is! Such a quality piece-they just don't make them like this anymore!

Last Friday, I struck out on my own for the first time. I knew I could do it! It was a magical, misty morning. Dropped the kiddo off at school, grabbed my coffee and headed out for an adventure! First stop was about 10 miles out in the country. No problem! Loved the drive...sooo beautiful! I really enjoy going to sales out in the country. You can see forever, and you know...I just love the adventure and excitement of seeing new places!

Well, it was definitely worth the drive! I scored a great Lane cedar chest for a song!
I can't wait to get some paint and french graphics on this beauty!

So....I have a LOT more to share, but this is going a little long so I'll check in later
in the week and see if I can bring you all up to speed!

                                                       Until then...
