Soooo, last weekend we decided to head down to Cali for a trip through the Redwoods. Can I tell you how amazing it was? The trees were massive and the forest was so lush and peaceful!
The Smith River was the most awesome color...and so clear! Really wanting to go back and enjoy that river up close and personal.
Can you believe this color? It made me want to design a piece of jewelry...or paint a piece of furniture! (grin)
Well, the next morning arrived in the liquid form-not a ray of sunshine in sight. No worries! We packed up, fed our faces, and headed north on Hwy 101. Stopped along the way for a little beachcombing, found a few treasures, and had a fabulous lunch at The Harborlight Family Restaurant in Reedsport...the MOST amazing clam chowder, ever! All in all, a very enjoyable and rejuvenating weekend.
Now....back to work! I have painting projects calling my name.....
